Lead something

NeuroDiversion is led by volunteers, with sessions chosen by the community.

We expect more than eighty sessions at ND27, and the majority of them will be run by attendees—talks, workshops, meetups, hands-on activities, conversations that go somewhere. The main stage is a small slice of the program.

  1. Register first

Every presenter has to hold a ticket to be selected, co-presenters included. There is no separate speaker track that skips the line.

  2. Tell us the specifics

Already know what you want to lead? Send the format, who it is for, and what people walk away able to do. Vague pitches are the hardest ones to place.

  3. We read all of it

Not every proposal becomes a session, and we work hard to involve as many people as we can. More openings appear once you are in—the attendee app lists meetups anyone can host.

How it’s built

Designed by people who need it this way.

Almost everyone on the planning team has ADHD, autism, or another neurodivergent wiring. We didn’t arrive at this out of academic interest, and the event is shaped accordingly.

Low-sensory areas, clearly marked

Decompression space throughout the venue, signposted so you never have to hunt for it. Step out of anything at any point. No explanation needed.

Short talks, real breaks

Two anchor sessions a day give the schedule a spine. The hours between them are a menu, not a requirement.

Nothing is mandatory

Attend every breakout or skip the afternoon for a nap. Both are normal here, and nobody keeps score.

The attendee app is opt-out

Browse who is coming and start conversations weeks early—or stay unlisted and show up cold. Your call.
